Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Start your safari adventure with a morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Arusha. After a scenic drive, you’ll arrive at Tarangire National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes, vast wildlife, and iconic baobabs.
Enjoy a game drive through this less-crowded gem, famous for its large elephant populations, as well as lions, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and over 500 bird species. Midday, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch in a shaded area with panoramic views.
In the late afternoon, continue to your lodge in the Ngorongoro region, where you’ll relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, head to the nearby Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife up close. This vast caldera is teeming with animals including lions, hyenas, elephants, zebras, hippos, and—if you’re lucky—the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a half-day game drive across the crater floor, with a picnic lunch near a hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and return to Arusha, arriving by early evening.
