Day 1: Marangu Gate (1,860m) – Mandara Hut (2,700m)
Distance: 8 km
Hiking Time: 4–5 hours

After registration at Marangu Gate, begin your trek through a scenic rainforest path. This area is rich in wildlife, including colobus monkeys and tropical birds. Arrive at Mandara Hut in the afternoon.

Day 2: Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut (3,720m)
Distance: 12 km
